Covering Islam and the Middle East is oftentimes hard: Journalists struggle with translating the complexity of these issues into their daily reportage. A recent conference at the University of Zurich on "Islam and the Media" tried to bring journalists and scientists together. Both parties discussed how to cover Islam and Middle East in a more comprehensive way. The journalistic medium "persoenlich.com" now draws central conclusions.
