UZH welcomed a delegation of 35 academic leaders from various Israeli universities to provide insight into how UZH is addressing some of the major challenges that today’s higher education institutions are confronted with. Professor Mike Schäfer, Director of the Center for Higher Education and Science Studies (CHESS), participated in this exchange and emphasized that "there is a need for evidence-based self-reflection in science and higher education. Universities must put this reflection into practice and contribute to the ongoing professionalization of institutional structures".
