Universities are under increasing pressure to legitimize their actions towards politics and the public. When doing so they compete with each other but also external research and education institutions. As a consequence, internal and external university communication has become more professional within the last yeass. In this book, co-edited by Prof. Dr. Mike Schäfer, researchers summarize key findings on university communication and identify avenues of future research.
