03.10.2018New member: Niels Mede

Niels Mede joined the IKMZ in October as a research assistant in the division of Professor Mike Schäfer. He recently finished his M.A. in communication studies at the University of Muenster (Germany) and is also holding a B.A. in media management from the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (Germany) and the Örebro University (Sweden). Besides his studies, he has gained practical working experience with companies in the field of market and media development research with a focus on social research methods and media (dis)trust across cultural settings. At the IKMZ, he is pursuing studies on distrust towards science, credibility of science communication, trustworthiness of social media actors and media skepticism. The IKMZ is pleased to welcome Niels Mede as part of the team and his looking forward to working with him!
