Silke Fürst received two awards for her dissertation “The audience is the message: How media audiences are constructed in public communication”: First, the dissertation award "Media – Culture – Communication" by the German Communication Association (DGPuK); second, the Vigener Award of the University of Fribourg for excellent dissertations.
