As a co-applicant, she also has been granted a new project in 2024 with the title "AI in Science and Society". The project examines ways in which the SYA could be involved in the following topics: (1) the effects of AI on communication processes in science, health, and society, and (2) regulation of AI, exploring the balancing act of protecting citizens from the harmful effects of AI without stifling usability and innovation. It is funded in 2024 by the Swiss Young Academy.
