Institutions of Higher Education are changing, and their public communication efforts are changing with it. In three modules, the project analyzes: 1. In what organizational structure is this communication currently embedded, and how has this embedding changed over the past 25 years? 2. How are Swiss institutions of higher education presented in journalistic and social media, and how has this presentation changed over time? 3. Which internal effects has this communication on Swiss institutions of higher education? The analyses combine qualitative and quantitative methods such as surveys, semi-structured interviews, document analysis and media content analysis.
