Strategic Communication & Media Management

The research group Strategic Communication & Media Management, led by Prof. Nadine Strauß at the Department of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ), University of Zurich, conducts research and teaching in strategic communication. The group examines how organizations and other societal actors purposefully design and manage communication to engage stakeholders, create value and contribute to long-term organizational performance and societal sustainability.

The group’s research spans key areas such as financial communication and investor relations, public relation, corporate communication, crisis communication, sustainability communication, news use in the digital environment and the role of financial and business news in shaping organizational and societal outcomes.
